Short Crust Pastry

A simple basic easy short crust pastry, from tarts to sausage rolls!


8oz plain flour
4oz dairy free butter
Pinch of sea salt (doesn't need to be sea salt)
2 tablepoons of cold water

Get your flour, 


sea salt and water...

Hand mix, squishing the butter between your fingers into the flour. Until there are no more large lumps.

Mix it until it's all sticking together! Mix till you get a dough. 

Pop it in the fridge for 10-15mins.

Roll out the pastry! 

I love this as its so simple and easy to use!
